It seems that their are much of the population that are scared to death of any kind of change, even when that change is urgent and necessary!
That goes double for politicians that are fearful that their constituents wont accept the necessity of going in a new direction!
Most people have to be hit very hard with a hammer to make an impression on their thick skulls!
Our American revolution like all popular revolutions were fought for and brought to a successful conclusion by a small but decisive minority of the general population.
It was not until victory appeared imminent that the general population rallied in favor of the revolutionaries!
We have to be that hammer and not ease up on slamming that hammer on the numb skulls that cannot seem to wake up from their fear of necessary change!

To make it clear to any who still have faith in this party, to make it clear to those who think, "They CAN'T ignore so MANY of us!" that in fact, they are faithless, and their plan is precisely to ignore us while pretending not to, in hopes we will vote for them, be fooled by them again.
So, yes, make it a million signatures. And when they ignore it and trot out the usual excuses and whimper pathetically of how they can't act unless there is some organized public effort, or any of their other preposterous babble, maybe many who signed will see the light and consign them to the trash bin of history and help build a new party -- or new parties.
Make it a million, make it 2 million. Sunshine is the best disinfectant. Let power speak lies to truth, and those who seek the truth seek elsewhere.

I'm considered offbeat to the herds of sleeping minds that agree with the political and corporate machine of the USA. I'm a veteran against the war and all the political rhetoric of both parties who I believe have betrayed the people.
I believe our country as a leader of the free world needs to be more compassionate of the needs of it's less fortunate citizens, our strength is in our weakest link!!
I think however the powerful are afraid of this compassion. I don't know why exactly but I sense it must be a treat of some kind to the elite classes.
Oh well that's my story and I'm sticking to it..........

Ron Paul and the Libertarian philosophy is right wing and fascist to the core!
They believe like fascists all over the world that only the strong should survive and the weak, sick and poor, deserve to die because they are not strong and cannot compete!
They dismiss the idea as "socialist,".. that people can become a victim of circumstances that are beyond their control!... Their response to this kind of a victim is, "Tough! You made your bed so sleep in it!"...The libertarians have absolutely no compassion!...They do not believe in providing a safety net for people that fall on hard times! They believe in "Social Darwinism!" The survival of the fittest or the richest,... and every one else does not deserve to live!
They hate governments that spend tax money to help people in need!...The only thing government should become involved in according to Libertarians is in the fighting of wars! and policing the citizenry! If the wars cost too much money, than Libertarians become isolationists!
The Libertarian think tanks are very powerful within the Republican party, and their influence is very strong in the popular media!
Their battle cry is that "SELFISHNESS IS GOOD!"
